It’s just 5 days from a lifetime experience…Reggae Marathon!

The 5:15 am pre-dawn start.  Torches lining both sides of the road.  Loud Reggae Music.  These are just a few of the things that make Reggae Marathon special.  Plus the location…let’s not forget that just a few metres away is 7-mile beach.  Once you finish your race and get your Finisher’s Medal, it’s just a few steps to the white sand and warm water that Negril is famous for.  That’s a pretty good motivation for getting up well before the sunrise to go for a run!

About mid-way along the Negril beach strip is central HQ for a special group of Runners.  Headed up by Lisa Laws, Reggae Runnerz will be in town this week en masse!  They will have their special T Shirts and will be easy to spot.  Don’t be shy, say hi…that’s how I got to meet Lisa all those years ago.  Great to see you all again…look forward to running with you on Sunday!
