It only takes one. Reggae Marathon experience that is. Once you’ve participated in your first Reggae Marathon, it’s tough to resist coming back. And the Reggae Rebels are no exception: For Reggae Marathon Sweet 16, December 3, the Reggae Rebels are coming back.
Bonnie Fowler is the inspiration behind the Reggae Rebels. For the past 3 years she’s organized the Reggae Rebels running vacation to Negril for Reggae Marathon (Runners from 2013, 2014 and 2015 are in the photo above). Bonnie has a simple philosphy about running: “I want to help every runner finish strong”. With all the help she received from her dream team of supporters when she first took up running, she was inspired to form her own Dream Team to help other runners. Adds Bonnie, “We are not the fastest but we run with the goal of completing the race by simply putting one foot in front of the other”. Sage advice and inspiring.
Bonnie and all you Reggae Rebels, have fun running this year. Stay safe and healthy…we want you at your best for Reggae Marathon in December.
