Strawberries.
Raspberries.
Naisberries (Had to throw in one of my Jamaican favourites)
Blueberries…
Who doesn’t love fresh berries. On their own, in a smoothie or in baked goodies?
Reggae Marathon fan Jetola posted on her Facebook page last weekend that she had found a great deal on Blueberries. She got my attention immediately me and I ran out and picked up a pint. Tons of benefits in fresh blueberries…I even took some with me on my long run and they sure boosted my energy level mid-way through my run. All that got me thinking about berries…all kinds of berries. Fresh berries with cereal for breakfast; on top of a scoop of ice cream after dinner; added to muffins…mmmmm!
So if you are a fresh berry fan, here are some great recipes for how to use berries right now: Summer Berries sure taste good!
Until next time…
