Low motivation to run got you down? Disappointed with a recent race finish? Had a DNF? As a long-time runner I’ve had all of the above.
I was speaking with a good friend and seasoned runner recently and he noted that in a long running career we all go through running doldrums. I asked him for his suggestions on how to get through those tough running episodes. “Medals…more precisely, setting a race event goal and working to achieve the Finisher Medal”. From the Reggae Marathon Finishers Medal above to those below, running for the medal is a great way to beat the running doldrums.
Plan for a medal and get your running back on track.
Until next time…
