“Love running…love Reggae” sums up how Kimatni Rawlins feels about Reggae Marathon. You’ll meet Kimatni this December at Reggae Marathon Sweet 16 and you’ll get to run along with him and his Fit Fathers group listening to Reggae.
Above on the left, that’s Kimatni getting ready to run hill repeats in Montego Bay, and on the right paying homage to the Reggae Icon.
“I had lost my way” noted Kimatni when asked about why he founded Fit Fathers. “I’d let myself slide into unhealthy living: Not enough exercise, bad nutrition…and as a father myself, I thought, ‘What kind of example am I setting?'”. Since then Fit Fathers has grown into an organization that promotes a healthy lifestyle that includes eating wholesome foods and getting proper exercise. “Fit Fathers… enlightens fathers with platforms for eating whole, nutritional foods and incorporating stimulating activity in their daily regimen, while encouraging them to lead their families to healthier lifestyle habits”.
On the beach in Negril…good food and exercise…a recipe for healthy living if ever there was one. Love running…love reggae! Kimtani, see you at Reggae Marathon Sweet 16 December 3.
Until next time…
