Lisa Laws of Reggae Runnerz said this when describing Reggae Marathon: “It’s a great ‘Runcation'”.  That’s a great word to describe Destination Marathons that combine a race event with a vacation experience.  The list of ‘Runcation’ or Destination Marathon events includes Hawaii, the Bahamas and Mauritus and of course Reggae Marathon.  All are serious Marathon running events but with a strong vacation vibe.  In that list of Marathon events Reggae Marathon has consistently been in the top 10 in the world.  Last year was no different with Reggae Marathon achieving a Top 5 Ranking:  Top 10 Beach Destination Runs.

If you’ve been to Reggae Marathon before you know what makes us special.  If you haven’t experienced Reggae Marathon yet, what are you waiting for?

• On the beach in Negril, Jamaica in December:  Miles of white sandy beachs, warm temperatures, sunny skies … Can you say ‘We on Vacation!’
• Early morning race start at 5:15 am to stay ahead of the mid-day sun.  After our Post-race party on the beach, still lots of time to relax back at your hotel.
• Rasta Pasta featured at the Reggae Marathon Pasta Party Friday night before the race on Saturday.  This is included in your race registration.  Live music, great food, lots of fun.
• Lots to see and do in and around Negril if sunning and relaxing on the beach is too ‘relaxing’:  Golf, Rick’s Cafe for cliff diving and the world’s best sunsets, Appleton Estate Rum Tour, YS Falls…the list goes on!
