We love your comments on our Reggae Marathon blog posts. And we are looking forward to meeting all of you at the Reggae Marathon December 4 in Negril. Lets plan to connect Friday evening at the Reggae Marathon pasta party. In the meantime, here are some of the comments we have received so far. Keep them coming:
From Angela who commented on the “Who’s this new guy on the Reggae Marathon blog”:
“Hello! Thank you for blogging and giving people like myself a window into the Reggae Marathon before we arrive.
From Angie who commented on, “Reggae Marathon, The best race ever”:
“Looking forward to it! Great tip about putting the baggie of water on your neck. Will definitely have to remember that. Hubby and I are coming alone (we travel to Negril every Dec.) and will walk the 1/2 marathon. Looking forward to pasta party as it’s at the resort we always stay at.”
And finally, from Joe, who commented on, “Reggae Marathon, The best race ever”:
“Hi Chris, I saw your booth at the Scotia event and wanted to say that I ran the Reggae Marathon(nicknamed by participants as the 4 R’s … Running, Reggae, Reefers ‘n Rum (Editors note: we cannot endorse at least two of those R’s) two years ago and it was great fun and a worthy challenge. As a destination race, Negril is perfect, fine sandy beach, great local character and crystal clear water. The race offers an unbeatable pasta party (and I’ve been to about 25) with chefs from the exclusive resorts competing to outdo each other. No warmed over carbs here but various complex preparations of world class 5 star food, beautifully laid out and highly decorative. The torch lit start and the Red Stripe at the finish then to flop down in the ocean, Ya mon, respect!”
Until next time…
