Upper body exercises for runners? I have always had a love/hate affair with doing any exercising except running. I’ve tried weights in the gym on occasion but have been inconsistent. Truth? I don’t like free weight or resistance machine workouts.
However…
Recently I’ve experienced ‘waist gain’. You know what that is…although your weight doesn’t increase, your waist size does! I’m stunned with the change since my first Reggae Marathon in 2009 and today. So despite my reluctance, I’ve been reading up on upper body exercises for runners to help reduce the ‘waist gain’ and improve my running form.
