When you come to Jamaica for the Reggae Marathon, be sure to experience so much more than just the race. Negril has so many gems, you just need to find them.

First and foremost, you will get to experience Seven Mile Beach. You will finish the race right on the beach and my recommendation is to go to water and feel the ocean and water between your toes. After the race, the water will feel like heaven on your feet.

Another famous place to visit is Rick’s Café. Not only will you experience some of the best sunsets in the world, but you will also see some amazing local divers jump from cliffs and trees. And you too can also jump from the cliffs as well! It is a pretty surreal experience.

While you are looking for unique places to visit, be sure to check out Blue Hole. At Blue Hole, you will have another opportunity to jump into the giant blue hole and hang out in the water thirty-five feet below the earth.

If you’re looking for a massage off the beaten path, take a trip up the west end and go to Jackie’s on the Reef. There you can get a massage and it will be you and the waves.

Finally, another be sure to go to Chill Pops and get a delicious frozen rum-punch pop. Nothing will taste as good as an ice pop in the hot sun of Jamaica.

When you are in Negril, just remember to relax and enjoy everything around you.
